QDS is the right choice for:
Retrofits:
- Retrofits often require engineering and assembly so that the system fits in a pre-defined space, sometimes in a new custom sized enclosure
to match the existing or on a new backpanel for an existing enclosure with master terminal block layouts and wire numbering such that existing field wiring can be reused.
- Retrofit of older AC drives often requires the addition of line and/or output filters. Output filters are typically required if there is
more than 200' of cable length between drive and motor. QDS can integrate these into the overall drive enclosure.
Special Packaging:
- Motor control center packaging, particularly where the drive and motor control center manufacturer are not the same. Motor control center
packaging is often desirable for saving space in electric centers and is typically available for direct connection to existing horizontal bus.
